Moving Terms of Service

Thank you for considering TRUCK N A GUY for your moving and needs. Please take a moment to review our Terms of Service. These terms outline the agreement between you and TRUCK N A GUY regarding the use of our professional moving and packing services. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms. Service

  1. Our services include professional moving and packing services for residential and commercial customers. We will handle your belongings with care and diligence during the move.

  2. You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your moving needs during the booking process.

  3. To ensure the safety of our clients and their belongings, we will always provide a minimum of two professional movers for every moving assignment. The number of movers assigned may increase depending on the size and complexity of the move.

 

Booking, Billing & Payment

  1. To book our services, you must provide accurate details about the moving location, date, and inventory list. Any changes or cancellations must be communicated to us promptly.

  2. A price estimate will be provided to you before the move, based on the details you provide. The final charges may vary depending on inaccuracy of details provides, additional services requested or unforeseen circumstances.

  3. Billing commences when our movers depart from our premises to the service location or the previously agreed-upon meeting point.

  4. Billing concludes when all moving activities have been completed and finalized at the client's location, and the client has acknowledged the completion of the service. This includes unloading the last item, setting up furniture (if requested and applicable), and ensuring the client's satisfaction with the service provided.

  5. Any additional services requested, or changes made during the move may be subject to extra charges. These charges will be discussed and agreed upon with the client before implementation.

  6. Payment is due upon completion of the move, and we accept cash and electronic bank transfers.

 

Customer Responsibilities

  1. It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that all items are adequately packed and ready for transportation. If packing services are requested, additional charges may apply.

  2. Customers must provide clear access to the pickup and delivery locations and inform us of any special handling requirements for specific items.

 

Liability and Insurance

  1. While we take every precaution to ensure the safe transportation of your belongings, accidents or damages may occur. Our liability for damages is limited to the terms of our insurance policy. It is recommended that you obtain additional insurance coverage for high-value items.

  2. We are not liable for damages resulting from improper packing by the client or defects in the items being moved.

  3. We do not transport hazardous materials, illegal substances, firearms, flammable items, or any other items prohibited by law. You must disclose the nature of your belongings to us before the move.

  4. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including acts of nature, government actions, labor disputes, or equipment failures.

Modification of Terms

  1. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on our website, and it is your responsibility to review them periodically.
